In this tutorial we learn how to pick a cylinder door lock with a wire. You can do this with your teeth or a pair of wire cutters if you have them. This will be your pick and is inserted into the lock and used to move the pins out of the way. First create your pick by opening out one of the bobby pins or paperclips until it is straight.

Materials required you will need a small lock and a piece of thick wire. Cut the wire into a 3 5 inch strip. Fashion a lock pick using household items. I made a loop at the end of the wire in order to withdraw it smoothly from the key way.

Bend back the pin so that you have a long piece of metal wire. After you do this stick it into the door lock and start to play around with it.

These types of locks are very easy to get open because they have an easy turn inside to push them.
